Publishing a newsletter

Learn how to send out a newsletter to your community instantly or by scheduling an automated publish

The publish options for a newsletter can be setup at any time and will remain saved, even if you close iNewsletter. This means you can setup publishing ahead of time.

To publish a newsletter instantly

  1. Click the Publish menu in the top right corner of the Author (where you edit a newsletter)

  2. A popdown menu will appear with publishing options

  3. If you haven't setup billing you will be prompted to do so

  4. Choose the channels you'd like your newsletter to be published from (Email, Twitter, Compass etc)

  5. Click the Publish button and the publish process will start

  6. Once published, you'll be presented with a popup window containing links to share the newsletter

To schedule a newsletter to be published

  1. Click the Publish menu in the top right corner of the Author (where you edit a newsletter)

  2. A popdown menu will appear with publishing options

  3. If you haven't setup billing you will be prompted to do so

  4. Choose the channels you'd like your newsletter to be published from (Email, Twitter, Compass etc)

  5. Click the Schedule button

  6. A popup window will appear with a date picker. Choose the time you'd like the newsletter to be published and press Set Schedule

  7. The newsletter will be automatically published at this time, with the options set from step 4.

To change/cancel a scheduled publish

  1. Click the Publish menu in the top right corner of the Author (where you edit a newsletter)

  2. A popdown menu will appear with publishing options

  3. Click the Edit Schedule button

  4. A popup window will appear with a date picker. Change the time for scheduled publishing using the date picker and click Save & Close or click Clear Schedule to cancel scheduled publishing.
